"...and she
will be confirmed. If we are to plunge head-long deeper into socialism we
must have a left leaning Supreme court. Isn't this how our government wants
it to be?...and get that socialized healthcare bill on my desk, pronto!!!"

I too get
Urgent passage Syndrome on occasion. Typically after eating something that
doesn't agree with me. Oddly enough, the results are the same as what the
Liberals get from UPS.

This
President does not want anyone examining, very closely, anything he does or
anyone he appoints. This lady, by her own words is a racist, and by her own
words, willing to legislate from the bench to advance her own agenda and
prejudices. Now she may regret what she said, and it has been explained to
us what she meant to say, but the lady needs to be held accountable, and her
nomination de-railed.

Why does
Omama keep saying " core american values " when he has no intention of being
an american. He's the most transparent phony in my lifetime.

Ms.
Sotomayor will, no doubt, be confirmed...as well she should be! It is a well
known fact that " A Latino Woman with all of her life experience is far more
able to reach a better decision than a white Male!" It is so funny that when
a left-leaning liberal makes such a statement it can be so easily brushed
aside. Let ONE white, Male,
Conservative Supreme Court nominee make a statement anywhere near
that type of content and he would be run out of Washington faster than you
could say Jesse
Helms. She will be, unfortunately,
confirmed and we will be listening to her diatribes for many years to come.

Unfortunately, the administration has gained TOO MUCH power. The president
has us (this country) on a direct path to fascism where the government
controls the private industry and [the] people. Our congresspeople have sold
us out. This woman will be installed as a supreme court judge no matter what
we do. Mark my words, there will probably be no more elections for
president. Hitler was voted in (germany was a democracy) Hugo Chavez was
voted in (in a farce election and so on and so forth........WE ARE IN
TROUBLE

We voted for
change, Ed. Obstructionists will figure that out eventually.

[Most of the people whom you perceive to be
obstructionists had it figured out before Election Day, Dave. We rejected the
kind of radical change that the rest of you now accept without questioning its
advisability, authenticity or constitutionality. -ED]
Well sure he is in a hurry to get her seated. He
needs someone to legislate from the bench to uphold all the unconstitutional
procedures that are coming down the pipeline.

Here we go again. You accuse Obama of being a racist.
As a native Iowan, I know hogwash when I see it.

that I would ever have any occasion to use. Obama's reverse racism under the

Al
Eddo plays the racist card, along with his hero,
Rush and who else was it, Newt? At least the other two were calling
Sotomayor a racist, but now Eddo has raised the ante and named our
president a hypocritical racist. I knew that your integrity was equal to
that of a worm, but this one tops it. Way to go Eddo. How low will you
stoop? Are you really a used car salesman, like they say? That would
explain a lot.

[I do not
believe that Sotomayor is a racist, although it bears investigating
whether her CT firemen ruling -- and perhaps others that proper vetting
might uncover -- is a form of reverse discrimination. As for Obama, here's
exactly what I wrote... "However, in a form of hypocritical reverse
racism, Obama believes that the Puerto Rican-American female will
bolster his political standing with Hispanics..." So which one of
us is playing the racist card, Draco?
The point
of my piece
is that the prez is a hypocrite and will even stoop to reverse
discrimination (a form of racism) if
such a flip-flop serves his purpose du jour. Who has ever played the
race card in the name of change/empathy/moral righteousness more often
than our phony prez?
Yes, I sell
new and pre-owned cars and my customers of all races and ethnicities are treated fairly
and respectfully. I'm posting your comment here so that everyone I know
can have a good double laugh regarding your accusations...
1) that Ed Donath is accused of being a racist
2) that car guys are dishonest, racist or whatever you may be implying, just
because you say so
...and so that all can see exactly how the left works in
personal defamation when the truths spoken or written
about their politicians can't be rationalized and defended. -ED]
Just admit that you're hoping beyond hope N.K.
pulls something so you can say, "See? That would have NEVER happened
under W." And if Korea unifies, what then? That's a heck of a lot more
likely to happen than N. Korea attacking the U.S., the only country to
ever actually use nuclear arms in war, and whose nukes outnumber North
Korea's by ... whatever we have minus one. (expletive deleted)

[No, I'm hoping against hope that Obama will grow a
pair and admit that W was right about many things before it's too late
and that the baby doesn't need to be thrown out with the bath water. But
with enough lefty America hating supporters like you around that's not
likely to happen. See the last line of the previous comment reply. -ED]
