Right on Eddo...I ain't going out with out a fight though I'll tell ya that much! If they shut down our reader input blogs I'll buy a bullhorn!I refuse to go quietly into that sweet good night...just remember one thing...Obama and his minions have got, at best, 2774 days left! and if all goes well only 1314 days and we can start undoing the damage he has, is and will inflict on the liberties that the citizens of this great country are entitled to. DON'T TREAD ON ME!

You need more self esteem. No one should refer to himself as a "dimwitted, defenseless Compassionate Conservative" - even someone who sells cars and likes race cars. I bookmarked your site - even though I disagree with most of what you write. But I do believe that people need to remain open-minded - especially about the direction our country is going.
I see Europeans are protesting against bankers (or should I say banksters). We really ought to be doing the same things here. It is time that the bankers quit running the world. That is the number one change that is needed before this modern world can be expected to improve. From what I read the banks did not receive the special treatment they are getting now during the Great Depression. The world's kind of scary - isn't it?
So Ed - has one of your online newspapers gone out of business?

[It's called self-deprecating humor. It was an attempt to soften myself to those who generally disagree with me -- like yourself -- kind like a RE-SET button only translated accurately. Believe me, I have no self esteem issues and I'm proud of the things I do and that for which I stand. I agree with you that the world is scary...ergo the need to hold on tightly to each and every one of our freedoms. Not only are newspapers in financial trouble but they're starting to censor and/or ban those who express controversial opinions. I sincerely appreciate your open-minded support. -ED]
I for one welcome your blogs. I posted recently concerning the level of discourse between bloggers and how it is fine to go after public figures but we should be civil to each other. Some agreed and some didn't. The libs here brand everybody who they disagree with as haters, intolerant, etc. Any criticism of obama just blows them away and then we are again branded as haters etc, brainwashed by FOX news. My favorite is to be called hypocrite because we don't go after Bush. How pathetic that one is.
I have pointed out they do not own the board and the rules are set by the owners. The butterfly and unicorn crowd want things their way, the anti-Bush folks are still hung up on that. Those of us who are suspicious of government and the rush to socialism are treated poorly. The saul alinsky tactics of the fascist left may scare some but not me or clear thinkers. Keep it up and we will fight together to push back the tide of socialism and to protect the constitutional republic we once had.

Sure pal, I'll check you out - you're usually wrong about things - grin - but you're very entertaining. There are lots of conservative bloggers out there who are just bursting with outrage. You manage to make your point about the foibles of liberals - and there certainly are many - without the revulsion.

[I'll be the first to admit we all need checks and balances (but not on our freedoms). You're definitely a pal Craig and I appreciate your input, your readership and your support. Let cooler heads prevail! -ED]
Always enjoy your posts.
Salinas: If your lucky, on a good day, you might find 15 or 20 people who are either conservative, Independents, or Republicans. Salinas is simply the result of very left ideology, Sanctuary City policies, Gang Banger terrorists, murderers, drug thugs and thieves. Conservative blogs/views get very little play here so to speak. Most conservatives, and those who believe in the rule of law, responsibility etc. are very likely to be branded as being a racist, or a bigot, or ignorant or something !??!!
If you pull your blogs, I'll miss them.
Good luck,

[I always enjoy your comments, Jose (also think you've got one of the best posting handles anywhere). To clarify, I'm not about to "pull" my blog...I'm worried about them pulling me. Gracias, amigo, por los buenos deseos. I hope you'll keep reading and commenting and don't forget to hit that bookmark link. -ED]
