As usual you nailed it right on the head. Both real losers. And there has just been another announcement on Fox a little while ago that there has been another incident on the same flight out of Amsterdam to Detroit. Some nut job got disruptive and locked himself in the bathroom for over an hour. Still waiting to see that the outcome is.

[It is, if nothing else, a show of force (numbers) and proof of intention of our enemies to fulfill their original failed plan. The larger question is whether they have found launch points other than Amsterdam and if Detroit is now merely a convenient decoy. -ED]
Obama should apologize to all of us for pretending that he would be capable of doing anything beyond giving a good speech.
Status symbol under Bush 43 = Living in a nice newer home.
Status symbol under Obama = Having a job.

Do you only want to attack the Dems and ignore the GOP blunders?

[Yes, because the GOP is long gone and insignificant at this point (as your fellow lefties tell me every day). Besides, your Dear Leader and his role model are the apology initiators; let them continue until they apologize to each and every one of us. -ED]
I had the misfortune of watching an interview between Obama and some news agency right after the passing of the health care bill and was actually embarrassed for him because he undoubtedly believes he is special and we should all be thankful he has come to save us. The interview was all about I, I, I and me, me, me and "I got 95% of what I wanted..." Unbelievable and actually quite sad for a president - nothing said about anyone else being part of anything.

Comparing what Carter did to what Obama might do is what? Yes, the answer is it's illogical.

[The belief that any given apology actually has meaning when it is uttered by someone who does little more than make apologies is illogical. -ED]
What's illogical is the belief that someone "does little more than make apologies" when that someone has has changed the way the world looks at us, is about to deliver on a promise to provide health insurance for 35 million people, pushed through a stimulus package that likely saved us from a depression, and stopped the idiotic waste of money caused by enforcement of marijuana laws in states where the people had chosen to legalize it.

[So it's not Kool-Aid after all. It's ganja that has made lefties so delusional. -ED]
We keep creating more and more terrorists as we expand the empire. More war only leads to more war only leads to more war only leads to more war. We will be at war until we are all annihilated unless we put an end to the incessant military-industrial complex thirst for more blood.

[The more and more one apologizes the less and less it means. Carter is as much an anti-Semite today as he was 30 years ago and al Qaida and the rest are ramping-up their game despite Obama and Holders kissing their rear ends at every turn. We need to put an end to the incessant meaningless faux-professorial lefty rhetoric of Obama and his mindless minions before it annihilates us. -ED]
You're on point Ed.
Reckon Carter is ever going to get around to
apologizing to the American people for being
President?

[The American
people apologized to themselves by dumping him
first chance they got. However, he held the
title of Worst-ever President for nearly 30
years...but Obama is a very strong contender so
now he has to keep reminding us of what a dope
he really is. -ED]
I missed the article,
speech, speaking engagement, etc. where the
President said, "I'm sorry for (insert
transgression)".
"We haven't been perfect, but we will be better"
isn't an apology. It's something we should all
be striving for.

[Better than Bush is the
understood implication of most Obama apologies
-- the stuff that phony Nobel Prizes are made
of. Fact is, your Dear Leader, Joe the
Schmuck, the First Lady of Pants Suits, Nancy
Pelousy and many others are equally as
responsible for the "horrors" of the Bush years.
If you are a Marine or a Marine vet, would you
have wanted any of the aforementioned watching
your back? Do you think apologizing to the enemy
will keep him from fulfilling his sworn mission to kill you? -ED]
I think the public option
died in the senate because in the end there just
wasn't enough money or incentives to go around
to "buy" enough senators votes like Landrieu and
Nelson. There were enough moderates (Democrat
and Republican alike) that didn't want to do it.
Well, you can't pay all of their votes...just
too expensive. Maybe that's a sign. If the
Conservatives are against it and the moderates
are against it and only the liberals want it,
perhaps it shouldn't be done.
