Did you really think that someone with zero executive experience, someone who could not be honest or sure enough to simply vote yes or no 129 times during a state legislature stint and who campaigned (lectured) purely on conceptual talking points that consisted, for the most part, of a word or two attached to the heading of each of those lecture topics could or would turn out to be a decisive president?
Did you really think that someone who refused to go public with the entirety of his scholastic, health, birth, immigration and business records would somehow morph into the most transparent president of all times?
Did you really think that someone who promised apologies to the world for all of the terrible things our country had done before he arrived and who said he would listen to and address our enemies' gripes, making them like us again, could or would strengthen our position in the world and provide better defense and security for Americans?
Did you really think that, if elected, an ideologue candidate who, for an indefinite period of time, would encounter no real checks and balances from a Congressional majority ostensibly in favor of his ideologies would not take full advantage of that potentially dictatorial set of circumstances?
Did you really think that someone who substituted reading feel-good talking
points from a teleprompter for explaining the radical working concepts of his agenda would not, someday, be confronted and overwhelmed by a mountain of real crises simultaneously heaped onto his plate by our outright enemies, rogue-state dictators, unresolved economic instability, ineffective homeland security, natural and man-linked disasters and the inability to provide leadership when and if the speech-making ever ended?

Did you really think that when confronted with competence, fairness and ethics issues that the eternally sympathetic media, in love with a too big to fail myth that they so willingly helped to create, would revert to their otherwise predatory nature?

Did you really think that the "rise of the oceans [would begin] to slow and our planet [would begin] to heal"?
Did you really think that it would take this long for failure to occur and to become apparent the majority of Americans?
Did you really think? Or did you just vote present?
