Very well
said and a great analogy.

2012! That's the winning ticket for the Republicans, Ed. I hope you keep
talking her up...

[You know me
well enough to realize that I'd be happy voting for either and/or both of
them. Furthermore, my New York Conservative Party would certainly endorse them
and enable me NOT to have to pull the GOP lever.
Nonetheless, I suspect that you've been reading some leftist talking points
that say "These two are SO conservative that Obama will be a shoo-in even if
he turns out like Jimmah Cahtah." What Carville and Company may be forgetting
is that Ronald Reagan was similarly thought of 3 1/2 years before Election Day
1980.
So be careful what you wish for, Craig. -ED]
You are 100%
absolutely correct and the sad part is that most people DON'T see it. We need
a BIGGER and louder tea party before they are outlawed by the administration.

I highly
commend spreading your conservative common sense opinions throughout the
internet. What you have to wisely say is constrained in just a local medium.
With the masterful charisma of our present 'leader', the 'silent majority'
needs wise and truthful voices, loud and clear; and not just locally. What's
important is that it be factual, not continual 'master disingenuous' being
espoused to win over the lame minds.

Without some
intervention the global economy would probably have already collapsed. It may
collapse anyway, and then you can blame Obama for it. I hope the Republicans
are stupid enough to run Palin. It will assure a Republican defeat.

I don't
disagree with you about Gov. Palin's elect-ability. Obama will certainly be
responsible and blame-able for ALL of the terrible things that we will
experience before the next presidential election -- if we ever get to have
one. -ED]
It is much
easier to discuss politics and religion in the two-dimensional form because we
can always walk away if we are losing. I am of the opinion that a lot of folks
will not post on this excellent diatribe because they know they will lose and
have nothing positive to offer. Well, maybe the person in Portland, OR that
was excited when The Big O got elected because she figured her gasoline would
get paid for at taxpayer expense was right and might post. When I was factory
rep for a major tool company in Utica, NY we worked on the 5/95 way of doing
business - 5% of us did 95% of the sales. As a cop, 5% lead the way and 95%
followed - yeah, we got a problem in this country...

[Obama-nomics works on the 5/95
principle. The government controls 95% of everything and what we're left with
is worth 5% of what it was worth before he got elected. -ED]
...Bigger
government does not mean better government. Putting salary caps on banking
execs, taking over GM and telling Chyrsler how to do business not a good
idea. The whole problem is this people who need to take responsibility for
their actions are not. If corporate execs screw up a company they should be
fired without a golden parachute, If some companies require a little help we
help them not take them over. The government can't handle its own problems
yet politicians think they know what is best for corporate America who are
they kidding?

...You
need to listen to what comes out of the other side of Obama's mouth. If you
feel the Patriot Act is a sign of totalitarian, then Obama is guilty too. He
DOES NOT plan to get rid of it and I guess his people are listening to
everything now! So Bush/Chaney had Fox. Obama has MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, and
many other print media outlets including this paper. Improving the lot of
average people (that are not disabled) off the backs of others is not
democratic but socialist...
