Are we the "mobs of right-wing extremists" described by Press Secretary Gibbs Laughing stock Robert Gibbs can dish it out but he can't take it.and the DNC talking points?  Of course we are!

Our extremism and mobster mentality is manifest in our e-mails, letters and phone calls to elected representatives and by the raising of our voices to question their performance as we demand better accountability -- particularly when those politicians visit our communities to offer an open forum in which to do so.

Our commentaries and blogs are extremist, as well. Generally, they call attention to

the perversion of our Constitution and the lack of transparency that has characterized an administration elected as a result of the repeated promise to end such hypocrisy.  Extremist accounts of corruption, conspiracy and malfeasance will certainly characterize any forthcoming escalation of our extremism.

Our militant grass roots mob gatherings illustrate the extreme to which angry extremists will go to enlist more formerly-apathetic taxpayers to join us as we stand up for our Constitutional rights.  Be assured that when louder bullhorns and PA systems are available we will employ them in an effort to ramp-up our extremism.

Being proud of our particular brand of extremism and its heritage, it is important to us that we never get lumped in or confused with other extremists. For example, we are not the people who...

  • Bomb Army recruiting centers.Black Panthers stand guard at a Philadelphia polling place.

  • Stand armed at the entrances of polling places.

  • Throw or spray paint on peoples' clothing.

  • Invade and desecrate religious services.

  • Riot in the streets during commerce conventions.

  • Chain ourselves to condemned trees.

  • Blame George W. Bush for choreographing 9/11.

  • Mock appearance, handicaps and infirmities.

  • Burn the flag of the United States of America.

While we defend the rights of those other-wing extremists along with our own, we ask very little; only that our unique identity as right-wing extremists be maintained and preserved.

We are eager to have you join us but we are prepared for the consequences should you report our suspicious behavior to the administration as they and their party have recommend.

Please, just make sure that it is right-wing extremists that you are reporting to that czar overseeing fishy behavior and not those less subversive extremists.  We don't want to see one more penny of our tax dollars wasted.

Hey...I resemble that remark. Extremists of the worst kind...Americans. If only I would have stayed away from the military. Now I'm doomed.

Yep, I'm one of those hard working, practical, flag loving conservative radicals also.  I suspect we are all on the enemies list already.  Just stay away from the FEMA camps!

Francis must be jealous!

"Townhall's Gone Wild" video's are out-selling his best Spring Break productions!

Oh, BTW, If you watch one of these videos, don't stare too long at the "well dressed" ! They are the ones that are actually responsible for using mental telepathy/mind control to turn a gathering of ordinary meek/docile people into a raging gang of out of control mobsters with a "Pack Animal" mentality.

Oh, and thanks to Barbara (please call me Senator) Boxer for her fair and balanced "Mensa Gold" intellectual remarks. She sure knows how to stir...Whoops... handle those "well dressed" people!

This is a great blog! Janet Napolitano calls people like me a terrorist because I speak my mind. Who would have thought that one day in America freedom to think and freedom of speech would be considered terrorism. Only in an socialist and dictatorship Amerika would this happen.

Where were all you guys the last eight years. Don't tell me that there wasn't anything worth being "extreme" about. All the things that went on during the Cheney and Bush administration, and you never found an excuse to be "extreme" Maybe if that kind of "extreme" behavior goes on long enough, you will be able to see the republicans numbers sink into the teens !!!

[It's funny how we went from being the silent majority to the vocal minority. We'll shut up again when it flip-flops back where it belongs.  It's also funny how Obama intentionally started a revolution and now he finds himself on the wrong side. Maybe he's not so smart after all.  But I've been extreme all along because Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy, Rangel, Frank and the rest of the commie-libs have been around since before Bush took over. -ED]

Interesting how they call us names because we do not agree with their socialist views.

Excellent. Since I'm already on the watch list. I think that pretty soon the patriots in this country are going to have enough. Maybe they will decorate the trees in Washington with politicians. Kind of like Christmas trees. There is not anyone in in DC anymore that I don't consider a no good, lying, lowlife scumbag. Every one of them needs to be put out to pasture. Including our Communist in Chief.

I am an extremist. I am extremely proud of the founding fathers, the Constitution, the great things this country has done for the rest of the world. I am extreme in my support for the military, for firefighters, for cops, for the right to speak out and protest. I am extreme in my devotion to my friends, to G-d, to my neighbors and co workers. I am also extreme in my desire to stop the totalitarian takeover of our great nation by thugs and cretins.

Don't let those yellow bellies intimidate you...They are mindless clones of the leftist regime. But seriously, government can't get the programs they have now right. Why on earth would we give them more power to screw it up further.

Dear Leader is clearly at the helm of this activity, despite his attempts to be distant from it. Taking congressional support out from under him is in the best interest of anyone not as embroiled in his leftist agenda as he is (independents, conservatives, even a lot of democrats).

BilBala2

Your rant as you call it, indicates that you support the type of republican policies of the past 8 years. So flawed was this approach that republicans now have to masquerade using nom de plumes. Laughable

RealDundee

Indianapolis, IN Star

[You mean like liberals having to change their nom de plume to progressives ? What is it now, about 10% of Americans would allow you to call them liberal? Don't even try to defend your brand by demonizing the opposition. We're onto that game and so is everyone else. -ED]

Ed, your post bleeds sarcasm. I love it. Have you considered a job in the mainstream media. You would be a real spoiler...

The left fears the TP movement so they vilify it. Just like all Republicans are dumb and all Democrats are enlightened geniuses. I just saw an old Kerry/ Edwards bumper sticker the other day, can you imagine if those two idiots would have gotten elected? Talk about Dumb and Dumber!

Even O'Reilly's disdain for the Oath Keepers shows complete lack of knowledge about where 'we the people' are coming from. From govt forcefully disarming legal citizens in N.O. during Katrina, while allowing the wealthy and the DHS to hire private security forces to protect their own property to govt non-regulation of Wall Street it is little wonder the people are grouping up to fend off what they feel is King George all over again. They are as clueless about this as they were about Wall Street, yet choose to bad-mouth a real and serious development they will ignore at their expense...

When I grow up, I want to write like you!

Good job, my friend. Yeah, watch out for those traps, especially those set by organizations who appear to be patriotic and, once behind their closed doors, turn out to be as controlling as the socialist party against which they purportedly stand. I'll be blogging about one such organization after I cool down in a week or two.

novelator

Great Falls, MT Tribune

We are so afraid of being labeled extremists that we are throwing each other under the bus. When did it become a radical act to question the government? I thought that was the patriotic thing to do. Taking a hard look at our leaders' agenda -- which is NOT the agenda of the vast majority of Americans -- knows no party. The so-called Constitutionalists should not be about Republican or Democrat, right wing or left wing. Previously, I identified myself as the latter. But the more I see our first amendment rights -- THE RIGHT TO FREE SPEECH -- and our fourth amendment rights -- THE RIGHT TO BE SECURE AGAINST UNREASONABLE SEARCH AND SEIZURE -- the more concerned I become. It's time to wake up and remove the veil! We are speeding towards a horrific destination from which there is no turning back -- unless we stand up and say NO! By the way, I am a female in my mid-30s. Where are my contemporaries on this issue???

There are plenty of splinters to go around on both sides. Whether a tyrannical faction is Communist or theological matters little to those who lose liberty.

SilverWun

Staunton, VA News Leader

[And in reality-based terms that means...? Are you implying that the fight for liberty is between political philosophers and religious philosophers? If so, who's who and what are you? -ED]

AT THE END OF THE DAY...the real issue facing those that see obama'a policies as anything but the way to go is... who to go with? The "movement" was created by obama's policies, you can start there. The next hurdle is the repubs. As beck pointed out at this convention, they are the ones that feed at the same pork table...and many of them DON'T want a border with Mexico. The question is, how do you change the repubs to govern like we want them to do? Thats the hard part of the "tea party" movement, how to make the leaders just do what we ask? First lets throw some deadbeats off/under the bus that we know that are against the cause and that's JOHN MCCAIN, he'd make a good start. Tired of seeing tired old man running out in front of the cameras. Give him his watch already!

nobama4me

Montgomery, AL Advertiser

[If the GOP had made someone else their standard bearer we might not have been in this position in the first place. The worst thing about the TP movement, therefore, is that it took hold a year too late! -ED]

Every republican that gets 30 seconds of air time claims they aren't being heard, they have answers to the economic and health care issues, and that they will not support any proposals set by this administration. Believe it or not, I've been working and paying taxes too. And I'm not a democrat, but like it or not President Obama is the leader of this country and desperately needs the support of the american people. Of course the repubs are trying to sway the Tea Partiers, they know it is the start of the gop falling apart at the seams, just as the dems are falling apart with the congresscowards that are quitting. Your Cheney/Bush beadledom left this country crippled and limping, that's the legacy our children and grand children will be paying for years from now. Cause and effect, baby, grasp the concept.

jwcol

Mansfield, OH News Journal

[Obama sucks the air out of every room he enters. If he wants to go prime time tonight to make yet another redundant health care speech, he's on! Cause and effect, in this case, dictates that he be silenced (or talked over at times) and that the reins of leadership (hah!) be taken out of his hands when the wagon goes out of control. If you hate Cheney/Bush you can still love the TP movement because it is founded on principles that no administration in our lifetimes has ever represented. -ED]

Have you read the latest issue of Time magazine. If the left fears the growth of a "thoughtful, patriotic opposition", why legitimize it, why even bother to acknowledge it in the form of a 4 or 5 page article in a traditionally left leaning national news magazine?

I tend to side with you on most issues, eddo. You have this terse quality that I appreciate. But you merely reflect what has become habit these days in Washington, which is to treat that long, carpeted aisle that divides left and right like a no man's land that no one dares stretch an arm out into anymore. The old moderates used to do this, but they're nearly dead and gone - a relic of the past. Someone has to find the courage to show the olive branch sometime soon. I don't like government doing a lot, but it does have to do something. Obama will be gone soon enough, but not soon enough to excuse inaction.

tpanner

Montgomery, AL Advertiser

[I'll give you terse tpanner. Magazines, especially those with a generally liberal agenda, are sucking wind and about to go extinct. So do the math for why they'll do a spread on a subject that currently garners more interest (and credibility) than slobbering over Obama ever again will. Remember: the "old moderates" got chewed up by progressives, not conservatives. -ED]

The Tax Free Foundation supported Bolsheviks will come in through any crack like a snake and fracture the foundation of any organization including the family. By deception they the defile what is good. They are great at marginalizing by lying, defaming, blackmailing, perverting and insulting.

Best Regards,
