I can't wait for 2012! I don't think obama will do a thing concerning Iran except talk talk talk. Maybe this gives him the opportunity to try out for the 13th Imam position.

It always freaks me out a little bit when the sound and picture come on at the same time. I hate waiting on one or the other (I don't have a TV, but sometime I use an HD tuner on my laptop.

A confrontation with Iran over nuclear weapons is inevitable. When we are forced to use a military option when the lame "sanctions" fail, let's hope they don't already have one. I just wonder if the peaceniks will be wailing about Obama's war with the same enthusiasm they had for Bush's war.

As usual very well put. Why does he think he has to shout when he speaks? Well now that I think of it. That is the way most dictators speak to the masses.
He is a joke. He certainly does not speak for me.

Iran can't even produce
their own gasoline, but we should believe that
they are capable of making missiles with nuclear
warheads? Only if one is knee-deep in
elephant excrement.
Forget Iran. Let Israel take care of it. We have
far more work to do figuring out how to reverse
the President's Bushian drive to completely
destroy Afghanistan and Iraq.

[Other than
contradicting yourself, you fail to realize that
Israel is our ally and we have been pledged to
help defend them through 10 presidencies
before Bush's administration. And what
about our own military bases that would be in
harm's way from an imaginary Iranian nuke
attack...and what about the threat of even
limited Iranian nuclear technology falling into
the hands of terrorists? -ED]
Here's the take from that
liberal rag the Moonie Times: [link to

Quote: "He
played Iran perfectly, to isolate Iran, unite
all the other countries around him, with an open
hand to Iran, and then he springs the trap." Not
only did the president look strong, he looked
cunning,"

[But theTimes piece
you cite begins..."For months, the image of
President Obama as weak had gained currency, as
his drive toward health care reform looked
increasingly troubled and his attempts to gain
concessions from foreign allies and competitors
appeared to be going nowhere." And I
believe that you were among those who would have
denied that fact until you found this praise
piece to "prove" your immediate point today.

Pakistan already has
nuclear weapons, and it seems almost inevitable
that the technology will fall into the hands of
Islamic extremists, one way or the other.
Yet if these countries continue to develop
(which continued warfare retards) the people
will reject suicidal policies and "martyrdom" in
favor of a better future for their children.

The
President is limited as to what options he has,
pertaining to Iran. Sanctions will not have
much, or any effect, if China does not go along,
and they will not.
I am curious, what do you think Obama should do.
Its easy to find fault, but finding answers is
not as easy. Please don't say that we should
declare war on Iran.

[For starters -- as
I wrote in the rant -- it
would be comforting to see the president get as
down-and-dirty about rogue nations with nukes as
he gets with American insurance companies and

Perhaps we should
continue apologizing for being a world leader,
disarming ourselves, and bowing to show our
respect for the holocaust denier.
Yeah...that'll work. Wake me up after the
nuclear firestorm is over. I believe a
pre-emptive strike on the nuclear facilities is
in order before those fanatics send a warhead
into one of our cities.

Wait what? The president
should actually RESPOND to every crackpot leader

[That's exactly what people
around the world are saying about Obama. But he
keeps lecturing and apologizing anyway. By
continuing not to put distance between himself
and the tin-horns he sends the message that a)
he's happy to have them as friends or b) he's
too weak and/or egotistical to deny their
propagandistic praises. Again, it ain't good
either way. -ED]
I do think we need to
take a stronger stance against Iran. Economic
sanctions do not seem to be working. Although, I
saw Obama talking at the G20 about Iran and it
seemed just as critical as the speech to the
Congressional Black Caucus. I was really into
the article until you starting bashing Obama. Go
to YouTube and search "Obama G20 Iran" you will
find many videos of him taking a hard line
against Iran at the G20.

Yeah! There's such a rush

haven't even read. It's so urgent, it doesn't
