Triple-A Criticism by Liz Cheney

Listening to radio rarely, unfortunately, and then in such short spurts makes it difficult to catch the most interesting calls and interviews as they occur. Occasionally, however, I get lucky and hear, directly from the horse's mouth, something that I intuitively realize will become a major component of the general political discussion for days to come.
Yesterday, just a couple of miles from my driveway and just prior to her appearance at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, Liz Cheney was on-air with Sean Hannity. "Call it Triple-A Criticism," I said to myself, mentally moving the theme of her comments to the top of my own rant topics list.
After reading the highlights of Ms. Cheney's New Orleans speech this morning, it's obvious, now, that she was in final rehearsal mode with Hannity as she lambasted the administration's overall foreign policy and, specifically, Obama's photo op in Prague with Russia's titular head, Dmitry Medvedev, that had taken place earlier in the day.

Liz Cheney's foreign policy criticism, with which it is difficult for any non-
progressive to disagree, expands upon the following self-explanatory A-word bullet points...
-
Apologize for
America.
-
Abandon our
allies.
-
Appease our
enemies.
|
-
“Nothing convinces the American people of the rightness of conservative causes than seeing the alternative in action."
-
"In the era of Obama,
American allies have their loyalty met with humiliation,
arrogance and incompetence. The shabby reception Israeli
Prime Minister Netanyahu received in Washington a few weeks
ago -- being treated as an uninvited guest at the White House
-- was disgraceful. President Obama must not understand the
most fundamental point about US-Israeli relations -- the
world is safer when there is no daylight between America and
the state of Israel."
-
“If Eric Holder is looking for patriots and heroes to bravely defend, I suggest he start with the CIA officers and lawyers who defend the American people."
-
Somebody needs to keep reminding this administration that foreign terrorists do not have constitutional rights.”
-
“The Obama administration is
accustomed to deference from their followers or the media.
Sometimes those two are the same."

Regarding Obama's meaningless -- even if the pact gets
approved by the legislatures of both nations -- Prague
visit, I concur with Liz Cheney's and Sean Hannity's
once-in-a-lifetime agreement with Iranian President
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's recent call.
"Obama is
inexperienced and an amateur politician...a
newcomer to politics [who should wait] until [his] sweat
dries and get some experience," says the Holocaust-denying
nuke builder who has made the president look like a chump
often.
Think about it. If we are friendly enough with the
neo-USSR to enable a bi-lateral nuclear reduction pact then why do we
even need to have
such a pact?
Meanwhile,
rogues like A-jad and North Korea's Dear
Leader routinely mock and challenge Obama as Medvedev and
Boss Putin do absolutely nothing to dissuade anyone from
sharing their beliefs and agreeing with their rhetoric. But notice that
Kim Jong Il and A-jad never say anything
derogatory about the Russian leadership.
Then there are the Chinese who
want no part of any of it and will continue doing whatever
they feel like doing regarding all international
issues. China's non-participation belies this foolish weapons reduction charade.
Furthermore, should the pact survive legislative scrutiny,
we will be weakened against all of our enemies and future
enemies by entering into useless agreements like these.
We will certainly be no more able to scare the rogues into
compliance with our future threats of sanctions and/or
military intervention.
As reported by the AP, expert Sergey Lavrov has said that
"Russia will have the right to opt out of the treaty if the
U.S. strategic missile defense begins to significantly
affect the efficiency of Russian strategic nuclear forces."
Nonetheless, Obama is likely to force our own military to
stick to the terms of the treaty, which sounds like an
amateur diplomatic move on every level.
Amateurish,
therefore is another A-word that applies to a discussion
of the administration's foreign policy and the president's personal involvement
therein. Finally, every assessment of Barack Hussein
Obama must include the A-word that best describes him --
Arrogant.
