This one is priceless. Good job.

Barack the Clown said that the stimulus package would keep unemployment below 9% if we passed it. It passed without most of the yes voters even reading it. Now unemployment is at 9.4%. Yet the liberal press doesn't even report that. But at least last night CBS called Barack the Clown's jobs number completely bogus. The guy just made those numbers up. And reported them as fact. Barack the Clown is a bald faced liar.

You are one 'healthy' contributor to blogging; and I have said before, and say again how vital comments like yours satisfy the 'palate' of good nourishment. Now...He's instilled his demagoguery upon the cigarette crowd; yeah nothing about the liquor crowd. Wonder how the statistics compare with cigarette smoking and liquor 'killers'. Umm...it doesn't take a scientific study to know the harm being done by those consumed with too much liquor. Now, THAT'S a health problem!

[Obama's a hypocrite because he has said one thing and done another on numerous occasions. IF I were a lefty, for instance, I'd be pretty bent out of shape that the anti-war candidate I voted for has not only failed to end our involvement in Iraq as promised but has actually surged the operation in Afghanistan. Not to mention that Gitmo is still up and running for lack of a plan...despite many months of saying it would be done both before and after the election. The burgers/pizza/pork rinds thing is another example of a guy who lectures on how we should think and behave (no, he never said anything about food per se -- that's just my comic, over-the-top example) and lives a rather different lifestyle. In other words...a hypocrite. He's spending YOUR money too, Craig. -ED]

eddo, your warning came just in time. I had no idea that supporting national health care and eating hamburgers had become the new litmus test for hypocrisy. But if we wait until Republican leaders/models of physical fitness (like Rush Limbaugh)get back in office, we'll all be dead...
Plus, I missed the Obama lecture that we shouldn't EAT pork rinds...I thought Obama's comment about Limbaugh a few months ago meant that we shouldn't LISTEN to pork rinds...

No, this is actually wrong. I know plenty of people who don't have any kind of health care. And those people have very little money. Not everyone is currently being served.

I think Obama has an agenda, and it is decidedly NOT that which most Americans want. He is systematically destroying our economic infrastructure and taking control of private enterprise. I do believe he is a left wing radical nut, just like the Rev. Wright, and believe he also hates America in her present form.

Even Obama has to admit he doesn't know where the monies coming from for these programs. Doesn't want to call it socialized medicine however, the last time I looked that's exactly what state sponsored health care is. I've worked health care for over 25 years and the last thing I want him to do is get his fingers in the pie. Eddo you said it best when you said we have good health care. Someone is going to have to pay for this. My name isn't someone but I think, if this passes I'm not only going to be stuck with my three hundred dollar health insurance bill of my own each month and the medicare tax that comes out of my check, plus I'll be paying another "health care tax" Where is it going to end?

Great rant, Mr. Ed! ... but the Obama worshippers will not let the "Young Elvis" ever turn into the "Old Elvis" because smoke gets in their eyes and mirrors are those carnival ones that tend to distort reality. If you don't like the messenger, such as Mr. Walpin the IG who presented a laundry list of fraud, waste, and abuse by organizations from NBA Superstar Kevin Johnson, Sacramento's Mayor and St Hopes receiving gobs of federal dough from AmeriCorps you just fire him and blame him for daring to tug on Superman's smoky catsup and mustard stained cape.

Where is the hypocrisy? There is nothing wrong with a wide assortment of food choices, as long as all food groups are balanced according to the current "food pyramid". An occasional hamburger, pork rind or other "fast food" choice is not a sin, nor does it cause the health care system to collapse. Obama exercises regularly (and apparently vigorously), and it is very likely that Michelle Obama & the White House chef make certain her family's regular meals meet the nutritional standards set by the USDA. What nonsense to raise such issues when there are some really profound and serious issues being addressed by the Obama administration, which have long been "starved" for attention!

[The Obamas have and will continue to have far better insurance coverage than any of us will ever enjoy under his socialized health care plan; the kind of program that falls short of the promise everywhere it is tried. You can't see the gallows humor of his "do as I say, not as I do hypocrisy" at this point in time so I'll stop right there and thank you for reading and commenting. Perhaps as time goes by you'll begin to realize what is going on in the name of people who are so "starved for attention" that they will embrace a Big Brother -ED]
I am sorry but I guess you're from a different planet. The "working poor" now includes a lot of middleclass folks whose employers don't offer healthcare. And as I just had to pay $7,000 up front to get a minor but needed operation, I don't know what "free ride" you are talking about. I had insurance which is lousy, and they wanted a hefty down-payment before they'd even look at me. Get your facts straight. Insurance companies are dropping people as they age and leaving them high and dry. There are many nursing professionals struggling to get cancer care. Shameful.
